Extracurricular Programmes · Ages 4–12
Lumina Collective offers a thoughtfully designed programme that nurtures children's inner world — through personal development and emotional literacy.
Where children discover who they truly are
Our Approach
At Lumina Collective, we believe every child carries a rich inner world that deserves to be seen, nurtured and expressed. Our programmes create the conditions for children to develop self-awareness, emotional understanding, and creative confidence — not through instruction, but through experience.
"The most important thing a child can discover is themselves."
We work with children aged 4 to 12 in extracurricular settings, offering a reflective personal development programme that speaks to the whole child — their emotions, their self-awareness, and the way they relate to the world around them.
Working with schools
Our programmes are currently offered at Swiss School Singapore. We are open to partnering with other schools and institutions who share our values.
Our Programmes
Designed to give children a complete space for self-discovery — through reflection, expression and the quiet confidence of knowing who they are.
By Lucia Baron
Through carefully crafted themed classes, children are gently invited to observe themselves, name their emotions, and develop the inner capacity to reflect. Hands-on making and creative activities are woven throughout, giving children a tangible way to express what they're discovering about themselves. Each class speaks to every child individually — without anyone feeling singled out — creating insights that children carry naturally into their everyday lives and relationships. The results are often felt at home, in quiet moments, long after the class ends.
Why It Matters
Self-awareness is not a subject you can teach. It is something a child discovers — through the right experiences, in the right environment, with adults who know how to hold space. That is what we do at Lumina Collective.
Every child moves at their own pace. We observe, respond and design around what each child needs — never a fixed formula.
Learning happens through doing, making and experiencing — not through instruction. The body, imagination and emotions are all part of the process.
The insights children gain don't stay in the classroom. They travel home, into relationships, and into life — exactly where they matter most.
About the Founder
Children's Personal Development & Emotional Literacy Facilitator
Lucia's journey with young people began over five years working in university student recruitment, where she guided adolescents through some of the most identity-defining moments of their lives. It was there that her passion for young people's self-development was born. For the past four years, she has brought that same commitment to younger children — designing responsive experiences that help them develop self-awareness, emotional understanding and the capacity to reflect. Her work meets each child where they are, creating insights that ripple quietly outward into their real lives and relationships. Lucia holds a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychology and is a certified Incredible Years Group Leader — a foundation that quietly informs everything she brings to her work with children.
